Project overview

Dusit Thani LakeView Cairo brings a taste of gracious Thai hospitality to the centre of Egypt. Amid lush greenery and abundant nature, Dusit Cairo offers the perfect serene summer escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Dusit Cairo needed a summer video campaign, creating several Instagram Reels that capture the brand’s ethos, capturing some special summer moments all around the hotel and finally highlighting “The Bake Bar” the all new in house F&B outlet.

In collaboration with Dusit Thani LakeView Cairo, together we crafted a captivating summer video campaign consisting of four distinct Instagram Reels. Our focus was on encapsulating the experience guests would have while spending their summer holiday while capturing the essence of the hotel's hospitality amidst the hotel’s property and the beautiful landscapes it offers.

We delved into showcasing special summer moments throughout the hotel, creating a visual narrative that resonates with the serene escape Dusit Cairo provides from the city. The outcome is a series of short, engaging video reels that bring forth the unique experience of Dusit Thani LakeView Cairo during the summer season.

Brief

We began by defining the scope of the project, agreeing on the creating a captivating summer video campaign consisting of five distinct Instagram Reels.

Plan & Prepare

From creating mood boards and gathering references to choosing a visual style that mimicked the vintage allure of older video cameras

Production

Operating as a solo filmmaker, I handled every aspect from directing, cinematography and lighting, ensuring a cohesive and high-quality final product.

Post Production

Embracing a simple, energetic, and friendly tone, the goal was to make every frame resonate with the warmth and tranquility of the hotel.
